Hi- After my sister passed nearly three years ago, I decided to begin to write consistently. I took a writing course for too much money but got my first book published. I found Substack in the middle of it and began writing three xs a week. Looking back at my earlier work contrasts significantly. I use some tools like pro writers aid for grammar and ideas when I’m stuck. Ideas can come by using chap gpt, but be careful to keep ideas true to the book. I am currently writing a spiritual sci fi urban fantasy. With heavenly technology. We live in Ohio and have a large family and three more grandkids coming this year. Keep at it

I loooooooove Toggl for freelance work schedule auditing, but this is a great reminder to use it more for personal writing projects. It’s such a great little tool and I could really be getting more out of it.

Also very much relate on the novel revision reflections! My own Q4 KPI was to revise the back half after revising the first half in the spring with my novel revision workshop and instead I’ve realized I really need to actually just start over… revision is SUCH a different beast. Solidarity.
